About Implants

What is an implant?

An implant is a titanium screw, which when implanted into bone imitates the root of a tooth. Implantation of an implant is nothing other than the replacement of a natural (lost) root with an artificial one.  Such a procedure is carried out under local anaesthesia and is PAINLESS, does not carry with it any risk, is fast, and safe.

What does it look like?

A tooth restored on an implant is permanently and solidly mounted, and does not differ from the remaining teeth of the patient, fulfils all aesthetic and functional qualities, ensures comfort and a beautiful smile for every day.

When do we use implants?

Implants are the best way to regain lost teeth in all cases:
*  missing one tooth – without the need to interfere with neighbouring teeth, we avoid polishing healthy teeth.
*  missing several teeth – multiple independent implantations do not affect the remaining teeth.
*  toothlessness -  implantation of implants in order to better stabilize dentures ensures comfort and a feeling of regaining one’s own teeth.

Implanting more implants (6-8) we can place bridges (permanently) and give up removable dentures.

Advantages

Implants eliminate many inconveniences related to the bias in favour of treatment using dentures, allow for the giving up of dentures that fall out or unsightly metal clamps, and do not require the polishing of neighbouring teeth.
Permanent implantation results in patients not only regaining a beautiful smile, but also self confidence and wellbeing
